StoneBase Underlayment is a permeable rubber underlay that can be used together with Silca Grates, Paverdeck, Paverdeck Plank and our pedestal systems or soil grid products. Laid between the decking products and your stone or porcelain pavers, StoneBase Underlayment helps to reduce the movement of the pavers or stone while still allowing moisture to drain. StoneBase Underlayment also acts as a layer of insulation in your deck or patio application, with noise deadening ability as well.
Because StoneBase Underlayment is porous, moisture drains away quickly, improving surface safety and eliminating the shifting and damage caused by freeze/thaw cycles.
StoneBase Underlayment is also resistant to mould, fungi and bacteria, preventing unseen issues below your project. Exceptionally stable in both high and low temperatures, this product is ideal for Canadian weather extremes.
