The 7-Component Gator Tile System makes the installation of outdoor porcelain tiles a snap. Underneath it all lies a durable and non-biodegradable Gator Fabric. Boasting excellent physical and hydraulic properties, the highly durable Gator Fabric GF4.4 Non-Woven geotextile, is optimal for filtration and drainage, while the Gator Fabric GF5’s high tensile strength and high load capacity make it extra resistant to punctures and tears, making it ideal for soil separation and reinforcement applications
The Gator Base unit makes installation a breeze. Replacing 6-inches of crushed stone, it eliminates much of the work and the expense of your installation process. It offers better frost and thaw protection, and better load transfer. Easy to use, install and transport, you’ll save yourself labour, time, cleanup and best of all, money!
You’ll get uniform spacing and unparalleled stability using the Gator Spacer when installing porcelain tile directly on top of the Gator Base structure. Ensuring maximum grip to the tile, the Gator Spacer is easy to use, the right support and load transfer. Available in joint sizes of 1/8’’, 3/16’’ and 1/4’’ (3,2 mm, 4,8 mm and 6,4 mm), Gator Spacers can easily be cut in a half- or a quarter-unit with a utility knife to suit your application.
Binding the Gator Spacer to the porcelain tile, Gator Block Bond XP is used to minimize lateral movement due to natural elements while ensuring the structural integrity of the system. One of the strongest polyurethane adhesives available on the market, Gator Block Bond XP holds tight when applied to bricks, stones, concrete pavers, masonry units and retaining walls, creating a permanent bond in 24 hours.
Providing stability and strong lateral support, the Gator Edge is the fully customizable solution that runs along the perimeter of your finished porcelain tile installation. Available in rigid or flex options, Gator Edge is easy to use, quick to install and connects together through the Twist & Lock system.

To fasten the Gator Edge to the Gator Base, use Gator Base Screws. This reinforces the outside perimeter while creating strong lateral support. On any Gator Base installation, Gator Base Screws are a required component.
Finally, fill the joints between your porcelain tiles with Gator Tile Sand. Our special blend of polymer binders and calibrated sand is available in 4 colours, adding a new element to your design. Once set, it becomes very firm and locks between the joints of the porcelain tiles, while remaining flexible. This long-lasting durable jointing material is exclusively for use within the 7-Component Gator Tile System.
